His works have been premiered by the Lyric Opera of Chicago, the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, violinist Jennifer Koh, and tenor Paul Appleby, among others. Aucoin’s orchestral work, Evidence was vicarious by the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra and he conducted the premiere in 2016.
